This documentary-drama follows the heart-wrenching story of Marcia and her daughter as they are evicted from their home after Marcia's marriage breaks down. Homeless and broke, Marcia discovers that divorce laws that protect most Canadians do not apply to her.
Out In The Cold contains interviews with female Elders about the traditional roles and responsibilities that Aboriginal women had in the home. The documentary also features an interview with the former President of the Native Women's Association of Canada, Bev Jacobs.
