Muskwa in the news
Our Muskwa comic book hasn't been around for long - but is already making waves. CBC Edmonton championed the book in its Aboriginal education-themed series entitled Learning the Path, which was launched in March 2011.
The CBC site features a news clip on the book, which aired on CBC TV, as well as a radio podcast and a slideshow, featuring commentary by Muskwa creators Kelly Mellings and Corey Landsdell.
The video and podcast feature students and staff at Edmonton's Prince Charles Elementary School (an overwhelmingly Aboriginal school), wherein they discuss the deeper meanings and significance of the comic book's story and characters.
